Research and education at the School of Business are supported by world-class infrastructure and university wide-platforms that create opportunities for multidisciplinary research for governments , industry and the wider community .

The Gerontechnology Laboratory is focused on translating research into new products and services for the aging community as well as shaping a more inclusive public policy for geriatric healthcare . Using a scientifi c approach to understand the challenges and opportunities of longevity , our researchers provide in-depth and comprehensive insights into the real needs of the older adults , design age-friendly products and services , and promote an active and independent lifestyle for older adults . The Gerontechnology Lab also serves as a centre for education and training , assessment and consultation concerning gerontechnology , home safety and independent living environment . It was featured in ‘ Innovations That Inspire ’ at the AACSB International Conference and Annual Meeting in April 2019 .

The Neurobusiness Behavioural Lab applies neuroscientifi c and behavioural research to our most important business questions . Our researchers focus on applying high-level neuroscientifi c and behavioural research methods to social , economic and business topics including consumer behaviour , human emotions , and behavioural economics . And our facilities include high-density EEG setups , eye-trackers , psychophysiological measurement setups , advanced behavioural testing facilities , and data servers .

The Monash Business Simulation Lab provides an experiential learning environment where students can observe the interactions of capital market concepts and decision making through a simulated investment trading activity . Key research outcomes focus on behavioural finance , where a controlled environment off ers an opportunity to test ideas and theories .

The Global Asia in the 21st Century is a university wide-platform that takes a leading role in identifying and researching key issues that impact Asia , its communities and beyond . The platform supports diverse research clusters where communities of multidisciplinary scholars come together to establish and critically interrogate research themes that explore Asia ’ s economic , social , political and social emergence on the global platform . Key research clusters focus on how Asian fi rms interact with and respond to the dynamics of changing market structures , the transformations of cultures , values , and society , and the impact of science , technology and sustainability in social spaces , economic activity and life .
