Middle School

The month of March was celebrated as the Art and Design month. A variety of activities were conducted in the class to develop the artistic talent of the students. Special assemblies were conducted which focused on the significance of Art. Year 3 presented a colourful role play, students portrayed different characters such as architect, fashion designer, innovator and painter who toured the city to explore Art in our daily lives.

Through the assembly students of Year 6-8 conveyed that our world revolves around Art. They depicted the importance of Art by showing a small town where everything was black and white, an empty canvas was yet to be painted. The town was visited by four well known artists, who splashed colour and filled the canvas with life through their creative genius. The message was greatly appreciated, and had a direct and positive impact on the perspective of the audience.
