Poetry is moulding fanciful thoughts into words. Qasidah par coeur literally means poetry from the heart. If you think about the words, inferred messages and of course the honorary audience giving you a roaring round of applause at the end of your performance, you know for sure that you have participated in the Qasidah par coeur poetry recitation competition.
It was an enriching experience since we met new people from different schools across the nation, learnt skills such as being a creative innovator, organized planner and a team player with fun-filled and interactive activities. The workshop took us out of our comfort zones by making us try to do something that we didn’t know how to. This made doing new things and learning new skills a lot easier. As a matter of fact, we are already looking forward for the next workshop and inter-school competition.
