90th Anniversary for Guides
Hay Guides invited past guides and parents of present guides to afternoon tea at the RSL Rooms . The girls , some as young as five , baked some of the delicious treats and acted as hostess ’ for the event . All the girls displayed beautiful manners and took great care to see that everyone had plenty to eat . Compliments abounded for the girls and their guide leaders . Girl Guides meet on Thursdays at the Hall behind the Hay Library

Wearing uniforms from a bygone era , the Hay Girl Guides had a chance to look at photos taken over many years of guides who are now grown up women . Many of those guides , support crew and parents attended the afternoon tea .
