Hay Kids Club 2014 It’s on again!!! Hay Kids Club during the September school Holidays. Open to all primary school aged children, Kinder to Year 6, the program each day is chock-a-block full of fun activities and includes Games, Music, Craft and Bible Stories, with Morning Tea – all free. Local organiser, Peter Casperson, is pleased to announce that “This year there is a Jungle theme, and we believe Strong Man Dave is making a return, maybe he will be Tarzan?” While the kids are having fun, parents and carers are welcome to sit in and watch, or join the group around the table for a cuppa and chat with free coffee, tea, biscuits and cake. This year the Engadine team are planning a Craft afternoon for the ladies of Hay on the Thursday afternoon. There will be time to chat, listen to a Bible talk, and enjoy a cuppa and yummy things to eat. The team will also operate a drop in activity at night for kids of high school age, stay tuned for more details. Last year’s popular Friday evening BBQ and display of Kids activities will again be held in Hay Park. The Lions Club will again cater for this fun event. Anyone involved in the week’s activities, and their parents or carers are invited to attend this event. “We plan to continue the tradition of the very uplifting Combined Church Service in the Community Building, 10 am Sunday 28th Sept.” said Peter Casperson, “ Everyone is invited to this.” Kids Club is sponsored by Anglican, Baptist and Uniting Churches of Hay, and run by a great team of about 50 volunteers from the Anglican Church in Engadine (Sydney). This is the third year for many of the Engadine volunteers. Further information contact Ruth (0428 437 779) or Peter (0407 752 453).
