Hay War Memorial High School students held a lamington drive and cake stall raising funds for their end of year dinner.
Students were hard at work on the Friday night before the stall, preparing delicious treats.

Slattery, Mrs Pene Bolitho, adding, “They have been absolute bricks getting this whole thing organised.”

Winner announced September issue of Printed Post
The committee have raised $19,000, with the aim to
raise enough money to erect a memorial to
commemorate the Light Horsemen from the Hay District,
who fought in the 1st World War. The committee hopes
to have the monument erected in time for the 100 year
centenary which is the 31st October 2017.
