Stop, Revive, Survive Hay SES (State Emergency Service) volunteers were out on the last Saturday of the Easter School Holidays. Manning the Driver Reviver station on the Sturt Highway, volunteers offered drivers tea, coffee or soup and cake and biscuits. Robertsons Bakery is a supporter of the safe driving initiative and donated fresh bread and cakes for the day. Many drivers took rest break at the stop centre and were appreciative of a “cuppa and snack” as well as “a bit of fun company to break the journey” as one motorist put it. Grandparents on their way to meet a new baby, students, a job seeker on his way to Sydney and grey nomads were among those who were refreshed before continuing their journeys. Volunteers also talked to those taking a rest, about Hay and all the great things about the town.  Overnight Melbourne to Echuca D e n i l i q u i n , G r i f f i t h & H a y Instructions 1.
