HAY FAMILY FISHING CLUB WINS BIDGEE CLASSIC
The Hay Family Fishing Club defended its title at the Leeton ‘Bidgee Classic at
the start of March. With one Murray Cod and three Yellow Belly, the Griffiths
Family team, with Eddie Hicks and Terry Pearcy had the longest length of fish
winning a prize of an orange esky valued at $200.
Club member Crystal Griffiths defended her Junior Girl Championship, catching
a 41cm Yellow Belly by bobbing a yabby in the last session of the competition,
Sunday morning. She won the Girls Longest Golden Perch, and as a Murray
Cod was not caught by a junior girl, she won the Girls Championship.
