Member and volunteers cook up a storm at the Hay Lion’s Markets. Markets in the Park Kid’s Trash and Treasure at the Railway Station The Lions Service Club Market, held on the 31st November, was once again a success with new hobby business’ appearing for the first time. Wes Moorhouse and Peter Seaman cooked the bbq for hungry shoppers and sellers. Tables lined the Railway Station platform. Usually deserted, the Hay Railway Station was abuzz on 1st December when 2HayFM ran their first ‘Kids trash and treasure Table Sale’. Tables lined the platform and shoppers popped in picking up bargains galore. Mr. Whippy also made a visit to the sale, much to the delight of all the kids (big and small). Printed Post knows of one family that missed out, so went hunting in the local streets to track down the ice cream van.
