“I’m here!” she had bellowed unnecessarily.
The two men decided that Atteir was definitely not a
candidate for the board. Cyan also noticed that Atteir
had not seemed happy. He was intuitive enough to
know it was nothing to do with the interviews but
something on a more personal level. He would speak to
her again later.
Cyan could understand why nobody messed with
Ellechim, he was slightly intimidated him self. Clime
explained The Board of Management to her,
emphasizing the need for inter-divisional co-operation.
Ellechim’s booming laugh rolled about the room.
Cyan and Clime sat trying to figure out who would best
serve the new board. They both agreed that Nino
would not serve. He was being ostracized by the others
and maybe this would help him open his eyes and stop
his bulling ways. With Atteir and Yelhsa out of
contention there were only six possible choices. Cyan
felt that eight members was still too many.
“I understand that more than any one else. Without
Wehttam and Yelhsa I don’t exist. We do all co-operate,
by the way. Most of the time.”
“Before I am finished, you will all co-operate, all of the
time. You will be taking orders from the Board,” replied
Clime
Clime put forward his suggestion.
“I suppose Kingdom Come is the alternative?” she had
asked, her voice a mere rumble. Cyan merely
shrugged.
“I believe you, Eus and I should run the board. Promote
Ellechim to Director; merge Atteir and Yelhsa into one
division.”
“As long as Nino has nothing to do with what you are
planning I might be able to accept the board,”
Ellechim’s voice faded almost to a sigh.
