Two Years In The Making November 2013 marks two years since Gillian White-Ley made the decision to stop colouring her hair, grow it long and then shave it all off for a good cause. Gillian is doing the ‘World’s Greatest Shave 2014’! “I’ve put a price on my head,” says Gillian, “and I’m encouraging everyone to get behind me to sponsor this great cause.” Gillian's target is $4,000 to shave her head: if the target is not reached her long locks will still be cut off and she will have a very short hair style. “Either way my hair will be donated to ‘Pantene’s beautiful Lengths Program’, to be turned into a beautiful wig,” is Gillian’s promise. Today, 31 Australians will get the news they have blood cancer. Your donation will help the Leukaemia Foundation to fund its important work – providing practical and emotional support to people with blood cancer, as well as investing millions in research. Gillian White-Ley has been growing and taking great care of her hair for two years. In March 2014 she will shave it off for charity.
