discussion had on which charities and organisations would
be recipients this time round. The final results are:

Barnabas House Counseling Service, Hay Working Dog
Group and Hay High School Agriculture Farm.
The groups were presented with their cheques at the Hay
Library on Friday 1st November at 2pm.

Certificate for participations.
Secretary, Andrea McFarland said, “I must admit, we all
felt elated that we were able to support the Hay
community and came away from the meeting with a warm
fuzzy feeling. “ The effort and hard work for the Flower
Show has certainly paid off.
Also at the meeting, members were advised that the Hay
Branch CWA had been presented with an award for
Participation, at the Group Conference held at Naranderra
on the 8th October. Liz Gibson explained that the award
was received as Hay Branch have had up to 5 executives
at the group level for several years and our overall
participation as a local group for Hay has been excellent.
CWA have changed their meeting days to the first Friday
of each month starting 7th February 2014. All women are
invited to attend .
After the official meeting, Michelle Owen of Hay’n’District
