Melbourne Cup Fever Sweeps Hay
The Hay Services Club was full of happy Melbourne Cup supporters on 5th
November. A bus load of visitors swelled the ranks of locals attending the
annual Melbourne Cup Luncheon at the Club.

Guests enjoyed a glass of champagne and nibbles', followed by a
smorgasbord lunch. Adding to the atmosphere, was the Clubs own race
spectacular. ‘Jockeys’ had to wind in their horse to win the applause of the
crowd. The horses were made by Hay Services Club President - ‘Frog’
Edwards.
