Hay Show 2013
On loan for the Hay Show, this woollen mural was the Southern District Regional exhibit at the Royal Easter Show (Sydney).
Many volunteers and Hay Show
Committee members spent a hectic week
setting up for the 141st Annual Hay Show.
It is with thanks to them, as well as
sponsors, schools and the community that
the Hay Show is a success each year.
Neville Reid and Shayne Johnston.
Shayne’s height makes him an asset
when it comes to installing the hessian.
“Although entries in the pavilion were
down on previous years, the quality of
entries was good”, said Jill Chapman
(President Hay Show Society). Gate
taking were also slightly down but there
was the challenge of many other events
on over the weekend.
Everyone was pleased with the beautiful
weather, which held out until the show
finished on Sunday.
