Hooray it’s Spring. We’ve been lucky this Winter in that it wasn’t freezing cold for too long, but I do hate to be cold for even a short time. I am looking forward to getting into the garden and de-weeding it so my flowers have half a chance of surviving. Speaking of flowers, the Hay Show is on 14th & 15th September; have you thought about your entries in the flower section - or photos of flowers for the photography? This year is the 141st Annual Hay Show, which is quite an achievement for a small town. The Hay Show Committee is calling for volunteers to help with the Show. I was told last year by many helpers that it’s a lot of fun setting up the pavilion so if you have a bit of spare time why not pop in and lend a hand.
