I have to thank several committee members exiting this year . Donna Seidman served as Information Chair and Prima Editor , lent her elementary school perspective to the committee , and worked tirelessly on both the budget and PRIMA redesign . Krystal Kubichek and Stephanie Krause served as co-Chairs for ETC LIVE , established a new committee , developed a more sustainable subscription service and explored pre-recorded formats . from the ACL office . ETC also thanks Sherwin Little , ACL ’ s Executive Director , who always ensures ETC has what it needs to thrive .

PRIMA is better than ever , with a new look , robust content , writing committee , and Catherine Hayward at the helm as Editor .
Our resources have seen new changes too ! We offered digital resources to supplement our traditional packets . We brought back ETC Live for a second season , which gathered students , teachers , and several amazing speakers , such as Nathalie Roy , Magister Craft , Susan Schearer , Jocelyn Demuth , and Wesley Wood together for evening webinars .

Krystal Kubichek finished her term as Immediate Past Chair this year . For the last seven years , she served as Vice Chair and Chair , working tirelessly to be sure ETC was ahead of the curve . During her tenure , ETC saw many milestones , including representation on two different ACL leadership boards , digitization of exams , development of merchandise , launch of a new website , and exponential growth in ETC offerings -- including the Medusa National Mythology Exam , SCRIBO Latin Creative Writing Contest , and ETC LIVE . ETC owes much of its success to her
leadership .
Behind it all is the ACL Dream Team ! Dawn Carlin , Rhonda Sizemore , and Vicki Curler make all of this possible
I have been honored to work with these amazing people who volunteer hours throughout the year to make Excellence Through Classics so wonderful . I thank them for all that they have done , and will continue to find ways to recognize them in the future . If you have not yet , please check out our

Traci Dougherty ( tdougher @ udsd . org ) is proud to teach middle school Latin ( 6th-8th grade ) at Sandy Run Middle School . She runs the Latin Club and is co-sponsor of her PAJCL chapter .
