On Apr . 18 2023 , Latin students from across the nation competed in ETC ’ s Spring Natonwide Game . The National Classics Week Nationwide game was hosted by Magistrae Nava Cohen , Nicole Wellington , and Traci Dougherty . Students competed in a Deceptive Dinos Blooket . Questions followed ETC contest themes “ The Founding of Rome ,” “ The Hero Jason ,” and “ Ancient Geography .”
Shout-out to the following teacher participants who joined the game : Magister Chris Buczek and Magistrae Darcie Hutchison , Kathleen Reardon , Maureen Lamb and Zee Ann Poerio .
After investigating the dinosaur fossils fully , here are the most successful amateur paleontologists :

Our top middle school paleontologists were : 1st place : Shayan A , Sandy Run Middle School 2nd place : Elise B , Sandy Run Middle School 3rd place : Trevor S , Sage Ridge School
Our top high school paleontologists were : 1st place : Grace D , Dana Hall 2nd place : Leyla S , Dana Hall 3rd place : Paige W , Dana Hall
Our top teacher paleontologist was Magistra Maureen Lamb !
