Treatment for negative body image
Getting a treatment for negative body image is a step to recovery. Negative Body image does not get cured all by its self. To overcome negative body image, you must acknowledge your feelings and accompanying your body sensations and so this will help you become more comfortable in your own body and skin. This will help your feelings and emotions become more happier and healthier.
Another treatment could be self-talk. Self-talk your-self out of negative body image. Recognise your emotions and restructure them. Try new activities to feel more comfortable in your body, try belly dancing, sport, boot camp and more things so that you feel much more comfortable in your own
skin and body.

People are constantly always thinking that they are “fat”. For an example a lot of women think that if their thighs or stomach wobbles, it means that they are “fat”. In fact, wobbliness in a women’s body is a natural characteristic that most women have.
A common reason of why people feel bad is because they had just eaten and they feel “fat” and bloated. This happens because the person is facing body-image related problems. If this ever happens to you just remember that your weight and appearance is still the same even before those
feelings really hit you. Though you may still feel down and upset just remember you’re still the same you, nothing has changed about you and that you are still beautiful the way you are.
Having a negative body image about yourself is like having a critic in your head. This critic is very harsh and it makes a lot of nasty, harmful, unnecessary comments. For example, you are trying on some clothes and you are thinking “Oh, I look so disgusting in this outfit” or “I can’t believe how fat I am” These feelings make you feel awful about yourself and about your image.
