A sense of community at Rogers Senior Center
The City of Rogers offers a wide variety of programs for adults 55 + at the Rogers Senior Center, now temporarily located inside the Rogers Fire Department at 21201 Memorial Drive while the Main Street location undergoes renovations.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate. There’ s always something enjoyable and interesting to do, with plenty of low-cost activities and events designed to bring people together.
The Rogers Senior Center is open Monday-Thursday, 9 a. m.-4 p. m., and Friday, 9 a. m.-2 p. m.( hours subject to change). The center hosts a mix of routine activities and special events, plus monthly day trips to exciting destinations across Minnesota.
In addition to regular programming, the city offers community dining two days a week— the longest-running senior program in Rogers.
In 2025, the Senior Center served 2,158 meals, averaging 180 meals per month. The most popular meal was the pot roast dinner from Center Cut Meats, featured during the Birthday Bingo Bash. Nutritious meals are served every Tuesday and Wednesday at noon for $ 7. Reservations are
18 | Crow River Community Guide | 2026 required. Other programs include Book Club, Card Club, Community Cafe, weekly wellness and movement classes and community education courses. The center is committed to enhancing offerings to help participants live well and connect with others.
Community Café is a welcoming space to enjoy coffee, tea and pastries while socializing. It is held Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9 a. m.
Community Education Classes are offered in partnership with the city and include a wide range of topics— from the Minnesota Highway Safety Research Center’ s Driver Improvement Program( at a discounted rate) to line dancing, sourdough for beginners and more.
