Uzbekistan’s strong commitment to continuity and
consistency of political and democratic reforms
• Uzbekistan is strongly committed to meet its ILO international
obligations.
• Eradication of forced and child labour is long-term process which
cannot be achieved overnight.

• 5 October Acting President approved additional measures to
ensure the accelerated development of entrepreneurship, the full
protection of private ownership and qualitative improvement of the
business climate.
• The decree offers the Uzbek parliament to create Ombudsman
on protection of rights and interests of businesses under Oliy
Majlis of Uzbekistan.
• The decree the relevant authorities of Uzbekistan within 2 month
are to prepare a draft law “On countering the corruption”.
