Then Ellen didn’t stop to amuse audience. Early in the broadcast, she joked about having pizza delivered to the A-list
crowd. A few minutes later, she surprised the audience by having several boxes from Los Angeles-based Big Mama's & Papa's Pizzeria brought out on stage. “Guess what?” DeGeneres
said. “Pizza’s here.” As she continued to distribute the pizzas,
DeGeneres brought up a touchy subject: paying the deliveryman. “I don’t have any money,” she said, eliciting laughter from
the audience. “Sandy?” she said to “Gravity” star Sandra Bullock.

“You’ve got a lot of money,” she said, perhaps referring to the report
that the actress is set to earn $70 million for her 2013 blockbuster. “You
can tip him, right?” got laughs from the crowd. Deliveryman collected
tips from crowd and left the stage with $1000 tip.
As predicted for months, “Gravity’’ is the great winner at the 86 th Annual
Academy Awards. Gravity leads all the films with seven total Oscar
wins. As a whole, the night was surprisingly free of surprises. “12 Years
a Slave” followed Gravity with 3 awards and also “Dallas Buyers Club”
won 3 awards.
