“ When bringing on a professional caregiver, responding to an emergency, or preparing for an upcoming doctor’ s appointment, trying to organize relevant documents and medical information can be time-consuming and is often the last thing on the mind of a person with PSP, CBD or MSA or their family. We realized this through our experiences of caring for our respective spouses with PSP and independently prepared a binder of essential information, which we updated as needed. We proposed that CurePSP create this resource to support our community members in informing providers about their diagnosis and advocating for their care needs. We hope you will find the Prepare to Care helpful as you navigate your disease journey.”
— Al N. and Fran G., members of the CurePSP Community Advisory Committee
