Domestic abuse has no boundaries , it does not discriminate . It ’ s massive , yet passive onset has captured some of the most elite . There are no age boundaries either , characteristics displayed as young as kindergarten . It is time to break the silence is to say the least . Our first mission is to educate the fashion and beauty industry on how to become front line identifiers of abuse . We all agree the cosmetologist is the unlicensed “ Physiologist ”. We hear all and in many cases see it all . We have educated near 1,000 participants to include licensed Mental and Medical Health Career Service Professionals .

Dry hair cutting , or “ Hair Sculpting ”, requires you as a stylist to work with the natural fall of the hair to enhance / control the texture within the cut itself . We will explore advanced cutting techniques to allow you to see your haircut “ come to life ” as excess hair is carved away . Remember , “ Wet hair is like a bad boyfriend : It lies to you right away ”, disguising texture , even hiding cowlicks and growth patterns that will wreak havoc once the hair is dry . In addition to cutting techniques , learn the secret of “ wet ” cutting shears and “ dry ” cutting shears from award-winning shear expert , Bonnie Megowan .

Learn from shear expert Bonnie Megowan not only how to properly execute a dry cut but also be able to determine which shears to use when , proper shear maintenance and when it ’ s time to either sharpen or replace your shears . This is not your typical cutting class .
