At first, the woman may have ambivalent feelings in the acceptance that she is already pregnant. She may also become self-centred towards the middle stages of pregnancy wherein she may not yet feel the presence of her child inside her tending to be focused only on herself at first. But as time comes along during the last part of pregnancy, she may already be preparing for her childbirth meaning preparing for the coming of a new family member. Therefore, acceptance is met already in here. As to the emotional changes, the first thing that will change is the urge for sexual desire in woman who is pregnant. Due to hormonal changes, her libido may be decreased or lessen. But this may change towards the later part of pregnancy. There are also mood swings wherein it changes the mood of the woman every now and then. She may have a feeling of grief because of an impending new roles to be done like as a amother, as a wife, a friend and so on.
