The Don has won several awards for his talents which include the 2006 Ni- gerian Music Awards (NMA) - Producer of the Year, 2007 Nigerian Entertain- ment Awards - Music Producer of the Year, The Headies 2011 – Producer of the Year for the songs “Over The Moon”, “Mr Endowed” and “Pop Some- thing”, The Headies 2014 – Producer of the Year for the song “Dorobucci”, the 2015 City People Entertainment Award - Special Recognition Award and Sun Awards for ‘Creative Person of the Year’ amongst others. Don Jazzy’s iconic face & personality has been lent to a number of local and international brands through endorse- ments that run into millions of Dollars. He has graced such brands as Sam- sung in their “Built for Africa” product range, MTN, Loya Milk, Online retailer Konga and the popular international spirit brand Johnie Walker among oth- ers. His Mavin Records also developed a social networking platform called Mavin League which was created to provide their teeming fans with news about the label and its artistes as well as a place for them to socialize. While he doesn’t make many media appearances, Don Jazzy regularly con- nect’s with his fans on social media platforms, especially Twitter where he has been known to give away cash, mobile airtime, iPads and even birthday mentions for his teeming fans. While he doesn’t have a foundation in his name, stating in a recent interview with Nigerian publication, Encomium, Don Jazy has been known to be very gen- erous, donating the proceeds of his works with DBanj, to charity, he also generously donated one million Naira when his colleague OJB Jezreel was needed a kidney transplant. While he continues to capture the fan- tasies of numerous women, Don Jazzy is not married yet and is not known to be dating anyone publicly, as he prefers to keep a very low profiled private life.
