There is no one size fits all . Beauty is in the eye of the beholder — but the facts should give you an apparatus to identify whose eyes to aim for next .
The holy grail It ' s likely the best photo of you is not a selfie . You probably aren ' t looking straight at the camera . Maybe you didn ' t even know they were taking a photo . You ' re just doing your thing , perhaps in good company and in a place that makes you happy . More than ever , we ' re a society used to recording moments in each others ' lives . From the big days like weddings and babies , down to the mundane but shared ground of daily life , there ' s something inherently social about these snaps .
The best marketing today is similar . Showing up on communities like Reddit or being submitted naturally to a site like Product Hunt shows something significant about you . Someone writing about you because you ' re worth talking about is them capturing a natural moment in your company ' s life .
You ' re not always going to enjoy it . You have to accept that sometimes it ' s going to be unflattering . But if your company can ' t stand the scrutiny of your audience exposing you from every angle , or nobody is talking about you at all , it ' s better that you know . No amount of selfie sticks , '' beauty filters or orbiting drones are going to hide the fact you are holded up , alone in your room taking these snaps . It ' s time to ignore these distractions and turn the lens on the world around you . If you make it the subject , you ' ll be surprised how quickly it may return the interest in you .

Swim for the

Endorphins by Temitayo Orekoya

usually get an awesome feeling anytime I climb out of the Iswimming pool or finish the last set of a weight training session ; I become a lot happier than when I dove in or started the workout .

Have you ever heard of Endorphins ? These are classified to be the happy hormones . Do you know that most physical activity leads to the release of these feel good neurotransmitters ? The increase in endorphins in your body leads to a feeling of euphoria , modulation of appetite , the release of different sex hormones and an enhancement of immune response .
Endorphins are God ' s gift to mankind as they are a natural enemy of insomnia , depression and stress . Whether you are building stamina or on a weight loss programe , Swimming has proven itself to be the best form of physical activity as it works on all muscles in the body at the same time . I have observed that while swimming ; stomach walls are clenched , biceps , triceps , neck , back , legs and thigh muscles are constantly contracted and relaxed , lungs are exercised , heart is exerted , the phalanges are working and the brain is coordinating both leg and arm movements . This assemblage of movements is done at the same time helping to burn calories packing the body up with the feel good hormones - Endorphins
During one of my late evening swimming classes that I organize for adults looking to learn to swim effortlessly at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja , a lady asked me – “ How many Calories will swim burn ?” Honestly , it depends on your body weight and exertion level , you can burn between 100-250 calories in an hour swim session . She was amazed because she would have been sweating profusely on the treadmill to achieve such calorie burn .
Swimming gives you an after burn effect because you will also burn an increased amount of calories even after the exercise is finished as your body uses energy to recover and rebuild muscle tissue . Regular swimming will improve your health and may reduce the risk of chronic illnesses , such as heart disease , type 2 diabetes and stroke . Due to the nature of the movement when performing swimming strokes it can aid in improving the flexibility of the muscles and joints . Swimming is the only exercise you do without really sweating .
In my many years of teaching swimming , I found out that many more African ladies enroll for swimming classes more than men as the ladies have discovered the joy that swimming brings and the great fun it offers too . Learning to swim is very easy ; unfortunately it is as hard as the person teaching it . If you are reading this article and do not know how to swim or have tried but failed at swimming then it ' s not your fault . It ' s the fault of the coach .
Endorphins are released even when you are only learning to swim . Take on a swim class today to keep the stress away .
