Choir
Choir is another class that PTHS offers for all students . The choir currently has 2 sections and , similar to Concert Band , it is a great way to learn more about music . Students in choir are able to improve their singing skills everyday and it is a great workout for your voice . No matter what each student ’ s skills currently are , they will progress and learn so much from taking this class . It is a fun and relaxing class that is filled with lots of laughs . Students are given a great opportunity to grow as a singer and performer and the class consists of a positive group of people who encourage and support their classmates .
During the winter concert , the PTHS choir ’ s main song was “ You ’ re a Mean One , Mr . Grinch ”. Also , the Nocktaves , which is the PTHS acapella group , performed “ Where are you Christmas ” at the concert , and the Nocktaves includes many members of the choir .
