The next day I was going to an event and I applied the foundation with a damp sponge and I LOVED IT. For girls with a yellow undertone, this foundation is amazing. It does not oxidize at all; the color that comes out of the bottle is the color you're going to get. If you actually read the descriptions of the shades, it shows that this foundation was meant for women who have yellow undertones; Warm Beige- Medium with Neutral-to-Golden Undertones. #Bingo
Too Faced cosmetics states that this foundation is “infused with coconut water to naturally replenish moisture levels; Alpine rose to brighten the skin’s appearance and promote elasticity; and Hyaluronic acid for a smoother, more youthful appearance.” Honestly, I have no objections. The foundation is very lightweight and does not feel heavy on the skin, and the best part is that it looks like your skin. It gave me the most natural coverage that I've ever seen in any foundation in my life, and that says a lot. I mean, who doesn't want to look like they have perfect skin?
It's also a medium-to-full coverage foundation, meaning it's buildable and you can choose your coverage. This is a HUGE plus to me, especially since with only medium coverage, your blemishes or any imperfections will instantly be blurred.
Needless to say, I 100% recommend this foundation. Even if you have combination or dry skin, this foundation gives you just enough moisture to be comfortable on the skin and not make you flaky, especially if you use a moisturizer before applying it. I do recommend applying this foundation with a damp sponge over a brush, simply because a sponge gives you the most natural finish anyway, so it'll make applying it so much easier.
Yes, this foundation is $39, so it might be quite pricey for some of us girls who are on a budget. But I feel that out of all of the makeup products you use, foundation should be an investment. It's your skin, and you should take care of it, so why not invest in a product that will help your skin as well as enhance the beauty of it? Too Faced Born This Way foundation is at the top of that list for me.
