Pouts and Polish November Gift Guide | Page 58

Now we all know Black Friday has been rolling around earlier and earlier every year.... and we all know what it's like to be out shopping and have that overwhelming sensation of shit now I'm hungry. Even though we gorge ourselves on Turkey and all of the fixins and sides. It never fails that mere hours later we are hungry again. Maybe it's because this type of food only rolls around one time a year. Let's start a petition that we have Thanksgiving twice a year... Nah just kidding. Well I just happened to be scrolling through pinterest ( I know, I know I have a problem) I found this recipe.. I'll link the original at the bottom of the page. Well I tweaked it.... She uses ham so for this recipe we are just going to switch out a few items. Obviously we have that delicious roasted turkey (if you do ham for Thanksgiving no worries... keep the recipe the same) WELL I made these. I kid you not they were so good that I didn't even take a picture. The anticipation for eating overwhelmed me and cooking them was the worse because I needed them NOW! I didn't use the powdered sugar or honey like it shows in the recipe. I just literally followed the recipe I just switched out the ham to turkey and from gruyere cheese to Provolone and Swiss cheese. This recipe is incredibly easy and you can add different items to your sandwich to make it so much more gormet. It takes less than 15 minutes from initial prep to finished product. Make these for a quick bite on the go. Don't forget to wrap them in foil and keep them warm. These are so delicious that they won't just be a day after Thanksgiving lunch. You'll want these year round.
