YAY!

LINER

I want to start out this issue talking about the BEST and inexpensive GEL liners out there right now. I have personally tried in the past or currently use each product listed below and these are my HONEST opinions on the products themselves.

The first product that i want to talk about was actually my first experience with gel liner, it was a bit difficult to use at first so keep that in mind if you are new to the gel world. You need practice and patience with these products. I acutally don't use the little brushes that come with some of the gel liners i find that they are really difficult to work with. My favorite brushes to use are the fine tip liner brush from real techniques which is only a couple bucks so it's a really inexpensive brush to pick up when using gel liner. Eco tools angled brush is also another drugstore contender for gel liner.

TIP: Make sure that you use a spot brush cleaner immediately when you are done using the product. I really enjoy Sonia Kashuk brush cleaner I picked it up from Target for about $6-7 bucks. If you wait and let the product dry onto the brush it's a pain in the ass to get out later.

The first step when using gel liner is to dip very lightly into the product (immediately close the lid to keep it from drying out) if you are more advanced with gel liner or various liner techniques and styles the fine tip liner brush from Real techniques is going to be your weapon of choice to create those killer wings. If you are a beginner no worries pick up an angled brush and some tape and start working... in no time you will have wings so sharp they'll cut someone LOL!

Maybelline Eyesudio liner $8

This is one of the best drugstore gel liners, it's super creamy and very pigmented it's stark black which is what you want in a liner. It doesn't last nearly as long as some of the others but none the less it's good!
