EXEMPTIONS Where it is necessary to include material which is confidential in nature to prove authenticity of work, students should contact the School for guidance to ensure that no penalty will be applied or comment made. ASSIGNMENT WORDAGE It is important that you check the set word limit for each assignment and comply with this. Each module should be around 4500 words. The word count for a written assignment (essay, report or literature review) is based on the text. The contents page, appendices, reference lists and bibliographies are not included in the word count. Sources cited in the text (i.e. author, date and any quotations) are included in the word count.
