THE MODERATION PROCESS Your assignment will be subject to internal moderation and review by an External Examiner. External Examiners are appointed by the University to assess whether the learning and teaching on the degree programmes compares favourably with other similar programmes in the UK. This quality assurance system is mandatory throughout all degree programmes in Higher Education in the UK. The agreed grade for your module assignment will be released after internal moderation. The grade will then be ratified by the external examiners at the exam board.
