Undergraduate Programme Handbook Aug 2013 ? A study plan or time table can help you to identify what you want to achieve in the long term and the time required to achieve your goals. Consider how much time is possible between your module commencement and formal assessment submission date. Calculate how much study time you will require for completion of the module - the recommended study time is 100 hours for each 10 points of the module; work out how many weeks you have available in the study period, allowing for other commitments e.g. annual leave; and work out how much time you need to put aside on a weekly basis. Regularly review your study plan and adjust as necessary as you progress through your studies. Continue to engage with the module leader and use the assignment guidance to keep you focussed on the topic and requirements of the assignment. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY INDUCTION AND SUPPORT MATERIALS Information on University IT systems and software can be found in the induction area of SNM Post-Qualifying Students on My Dundee. It also includes important information about rules and regulations governing the use of IT, which you should read, even if you are already proficient in IT skills, as this is a mandatory part of the induction to your programme. The University’s Information and Communication Services (ICS) provides help and guidance on all aspects of IT.
