Undergraduate Programme Handbook Aug 2013 As a University of Dundee student, you will be granted access to the University’s email system, and allocated a University of Dundee email address upon enrolment. Microsoft provides the University’s e-mail system and each student has 10GB of storage space available to them. The following features and benefits are attached to the use of your University email address; ? ? ? ? ? ? The email system is fully supported by the University for all students and staff Your University email is accessible from any computer with internet access The University e-mail system is used to communicate University wide news and information to all students. The University has spam software to filter out unwanted email. Using the University email system gives you access to e-mail addresses of fellow students and staff – personal address books are also easy to build and use. A calendar function is also included. HOW TO ACCESS EMAIL Webmail: you will most likely access Outlook through webmail by going to the university home page, then in the information banner click “for current students” then “email” and then log in, using the username and password you have been sent (the same one you use for My Dundee and other services).
