ON A DEGREE APPRENTICESHIP , YOU COMBINE WORK WITH STUDY . YOU ’ LL BE IN EMPLOYMENT AND EARN A SALARY , WHILE YOU ACHIEVE A UNIVERSITY MASTER ’ S DEGREE PART TIME .
We have developed degree apprenticeship courses with employers and professional organisations , so that new and established employees can boost their skills and knowledge .
What are the advantages ?
Our degree apprenticeship courses combine the academic study you ’ d expect from a university degree with practical , on-the-job experience , while in employment . They enable you to develop skills required for a successful career , including project management , problem-solving and leadership abilities . You also get to apply what you learn to real situations in the workplace , in real time .
How it works
You ’ ll be recruited by your employer as a degree apprentice or a current employee seeking professional development . Degree apprenticeships ( Level 7 ) take between one and three years to complete , depending on the course you take , your existing qualification / s and experience level . These apprenticeships are delivered in different ways – from one day per week , to a combination of campus and distance learning .
