Learning at Work
Our programmes give you the freedom to gain a
postgraduate degree without leaving your job.
Our range of flexible, work-based courses allow you to
tailor your programme of study with real projects. You
can set your own objectives, and shape your Master’s to
your personal learning requirements and professional
development needs.
You’ll have the option to study online units from home
or work. If you prefer, you can also choose to study
some units on campus or study purely from a distance.
Start in September or January and work at your own
pace.
There are no standardised entry requirements and you
could gain credits for your learning and experience to
date, reducing the cost and time to complete.

‘Learning at Work is ideal for
professionals who want to
change careers or progress
further within their current
role. The course is challenging
but very rewarding, as
you know you are working
towards your future. I haven’t
even had to forsake my
salary in the process.’
‘I chose to study via Learning
at Work because there was
plenty of scope to tailor my
units to beneficial projects
within my workplace. Being
a father of three children, I
am unable to take time off
work to study as I need to
support the home financially,
so Learning at Work was the
perfect fit.’

MA/MSC PROFESSIONAL STUDIES
If none of the specialisms listed are right for you, you
could choose an MA or MSc in Professional Studies. This
Professional Studies qualification is especially relevant
if you work in a multi-faceted role. It allows you to build
evidence of key transferable skills that may not focus on
subject-specific qualifications.
