Learning at Work Our programmes give you the freedom to gain a postgraduate degree without leaving your job. Our range of flexible, work-based courses allow you to tailor your programme of study with real projects. You can set your own objectives, and shape your Master’s to your personal learning requirements and professional development needs. You’ll have the option to study online units from home or work. If you prefer, you can also choose to study some units on campus or study purely from a distance. Start in September or January and work at your own pace. There are no standardised entry requirements and you could gain credits for your learning and experience to date, reducing the cost and time to complete. For example, our occupational health and safety courses are accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA). And all our MSc Engineering courses are recognised by professional engineering institutions. This recognition could lead to you being granted Chartered (CEng) or Incorporated (IEng) engineer status. FUNDING YOUR STUDY Your studies can be funded either by yourself, your employer or Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Services (ELCAS) for armed forces personnel.
