SOLVIT is a service that allows the informal resolution of litigation resulting from the incorrect application of the Single Market rules by another EU country.
Packaging Waste
Despite found in legislative process the adoption of new rules in packaging (short guide), at the EU Internal Market level, the flow of packaging and packaging waste is regulated in Directive No. 94/62/ CE, which establishes as a common rule to all EM the extended responsibility principle of the producer, which consists of the producer's financial and operational responsibility regarding the management of waste from their own products, and this responsibility can be assumed to be individual or transferred to an integrated system.
Obstacles
Despite the creation of a boundary-free Single Market, with the four freedoms assured and the constant progress recorded, considering it is a dynamic process, there are gaps in areas where integration has advanced more slowly, as well as several obstacles that make it difficult the good operation of the One Market (The Single Market Scoreboard).
