PL: If you had to describe the biggest challenges and most rewarding moments of working in this area, what would they be?
SS: At the moment, our biggest challenge is export costs. Transport prices are considerably high, taking into account that 60% of our business volume is destined for export to the USA. In addition to this aspect, we also have other types of challenges, such as the brand's entry into new markets: there are countries, regions and cultures in which our pieces are very different from what the market itself normally seeks. However, it is very rewarding when we achieve the goal we set for ourselves – it means that our pieces always end up standing out for their quality.
Regarding the most gratifying moments, the one that undoubtedly stands out most is the satisfaction of our customers: knowing that the piece was well delivered, that it fulfilled its function, that it contributed to the realization of the project concept, that stands out for its comfort and particularity. Furthermore, recognizing the differentiation of our design and the good energy we intend to convey really makes us very happy and eager to continue delivering this type of experience – it is, without a doubt, the oxygen we breathe.
" (...) the internal market has been increasingly open. (...) increase in the number of sales to national customers, as well as in new partnerships established with Portuguese entities and companies. "
