Color temperature influences your behavior
It is very common during the elaboration of a lighting project to be in doubt about the type of lamp to use in certain spaces.
Choosing the right lighting is not always easy, as the color temperature of the light will influence not only the decor, but also the perceived comfort and feel of each room.
Since light can be distinguished by color, it is possible to have different types of lighting in each space, depending on the activity carried out, and thus create warmer, cooler or simply natural atmospheres. We can therefore say that color temperature is the sensation that the human eye perceives in the presence of light, being warm if amber predominates or cold if blue predominates.
To better understand this concept we can think of how the color of a metal reacts as it gets hotter. When it starts to heat up, it becomes red, then orange, then yellow, then white, blue, and even black.
The difference between warm, cold and neutral light is in the color temperature, referred to in degrees, which is measured on the Kelvin scale. When we buy electrical equipment, we must bear in mind that warm tones have less Kelvin and cold tones have more.
Cold light is whiter or bluish, it has a color with a higher temperature; the warm one is more yellowish, has a lower temperature, and the neutral one is the closest to natural light.
But let's explain in more detail each of these options.
COOL WHITE LIGHT
Cool light is the one with the highest number of Kelvin degrees, between 6,000K and 6,500K, providing white and almost bluish lighting. It is widely used for places that need attention and focus, such as offices, kitchens and bathrooms, they are also used to highlight points of decoration and give a more modern and even technological look.
