ENTREVISTA / INTERVIEW

PL: The concern for Ecodesign and the circular economy is, more and more, a constant. Is it easy for a company that produces lamps to follow these movements?
CS: It’s not easy, but it’s possible, we are moving in that direction. Most of the materials we use in the production of lamps are natural and non- polluting, such as handmade glass, wood, rattan, metal and alabaster. In addition, the repair of the piece or maintenance, if there is a problem, are very important aspects to increase the longevity of our products. The issue of energy consumption is something we are continually working to reduce. However, there are components that due to lack of market options it has not yet been possible to replace and, therefore, we have not yet been able to achieve 100% eco products in some models.
PL: What is your perspective for the future of the sector and the path traced by Emotional Brands?
CS: I believe that in the coming years there will be a crisis in the sector, in the medium and medium/low segment, but the luxury market, as we have seen in so many other crises, I hope will not feel these effects so much. The path traced by Emotional Brands is to invest more and more in quality, exclusive design, digital marketing and customer service. For us, it is essential that a customer is satisfied, in order to foster business relationships and provide an excellent service.
