5º DIA LAMEGO / VISEU / GUARDA / BELMONTE / CASTELO BRANCO
After breakfast, we set out across the mountains of Skeins and Montemuro, to get to Viseu, Beiras capital city and land of legendary Viriato, that here, in once Lusitania, fought the Roman
invasions. After a brief visit, follow towards the city of Guarda, passing through the mountainous landscape of the Serra da Estrela. On the way, we visit a traditional cheese dairy, where the
famous "Queijo da Serra" and continue until Belmonte, one of the historical villages of Portugal, with an important Jewish community. Visit the Museum of discovery, the House where was born
Pedro Álvares Cabral. Continue until White Castle for accommodation at Hotel solneve *** *, or similar in the region.
6º DIA CASTELO BRANCO / MARVÃO / ESTREMOZ / ÉVORA
Checkout after breakfast to go down the border downtown to Alentejo, with a first stop in the historic village of Marvão, surrounded by walls. XIII and that of the alto da Serra de São Mamede,
offers a fantastic panoramic view of the entire region. We continue to cross the Alentejo Plains, passing by Estremoz until you reach Évora, main town of the Alentejo, with strong Moorish
character, surrounded by walls and which UNESCO has classified as a world heritage site. We walk through the historical centre, the Roman temple to the Praça do Giraldo, do a tasting in the
heart of the Alentejo wine route and visit the quirky Capela dos Ossos in the Church of St. Francis. Accommodation at the Hotel m'ar de ar Muralhas ****, or similar in Évora.
7º DIA ÉVORA / MONSARAZ / VILAMOURA
We left Évora, after breakfast, heading south and we do a first stop for a stroll through the medieval streets of the historical town of Monsaraz, to the top of Mount offers a fantastic panoramic
view over the whole Alentejo plain and the Alqueva, the largest artificial lake in Europe. Follow across the quiet Alentejo landscape until you reach the Beja, for a brief overview and free time for
lunch. In the afternoon we continue the path to the Algarve, the southern region of Portugal, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean. Accommodation in Hotel Vila Galé Ampalius ****, in Vilamoura, or
similar in the Algarve.
8º DIA VILAMOURA / LAGOS / SAGRES / VILAMOURA
We left after breakfast for a full day tour to discover the Algarve. We started with a visit to the city of Silves which, at the time of the reign was your Arab capital, and boasts beautiful your castle
today. Continue to Lakes, summer city with the most beautiful beaches of the coast. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon we follow to Sagres, where the Cape St. Vincent is the furthest East
exposure to Portugal, where the Infante d. Henrique installed navigation school and initiated the discoveries of the Atlantic Ocean. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Accommodation.
9º DIA VILAMOURA / SETÚBAL / ARRÁBIDA / LISBOA
Check-out after breakfast and departure directly to Setúbal, the port city near the Sado estuary. Free time for lunch (Setúbal is renowned for your fried cuttlefish). In the afternoon we continued
across the Arrábida Natural Park, to the small village of Azeitão, where we will visit with tasting of one of the most prestigious wine cellars of the region. We went to Lisbon, where we arrive in
the late afternoon.
