1º DIA LISBOA / ÓBIDOS / NAZARÉ / ALCOBAÇA / BATALHA / FÁTIMA Find by 8:30 in front of the VIP Grand Lisboa Hotel & SPA. We set off towards the North and make the first stop on one of the best preserved medieval towns of Portugal. Óbidos, which still today is surrounded by a solid wall, was a dowry of Queens during various dynasties of Portuguese history. Make a stroll through the narrow streets inside the wall. Enjoy to prove the famous cherry liqueur: the "Ginjinha". We continue to the Nazareth, the most typical fishing village, today a popular holiday Centre, which knew to keep its traditions linked to the sea. The "Place", on the highest point of the village, has a fantastic panoramic view of the whole place bathed by the Atlantic Ocean. Free time for lunch.In the afternoon we continue to Alcobaça to tour the Church of the monastery where Peter and Agnes are buried. On the w ay back, stop in Valença do Minho, a fortified place by the river Miño, which is the geographical border between Portugal and Spain. 4th day PORTO/BRAGA/GUIMARÃES/LAMEGO checkout after breakfast and departure to Braga, the city of the archbishops, known for its numerous churches, of which we highlight to visit the ancient see of Braga, in the historic centre, and the Bom Jesus do Monte, on the hillside of Serra do Sameiro, with a majestic granite staircase and a fantastic view over the city and the region. Continue to Guimarães, the cradle of the nation ", birthplace of Afonso Henriques, the first King of Portugal. We walk by the beautiful mediaeval historic centre that has been classified by UNESCO as world heritage. In the afternoon, followed until Lamego, passing through Vila Real and crossing the beautiful Douro Valley.
