Mr. Williams is President of State Budget Solutions, a non-partisan organization advocating for fundamental reform and real solutions to the state budget crises. He is also the Founder and Senior Fellow of the Freedom Foundation, a public policy organization in Olympia, Washington, dedicated to the advancement of individual liberty. He worked as a GAO auditor of the Pentagon and Post Office before moving to Washington State where he served five terms in the Washington state legislature. Total federal spending: $ 3,800,000,000,000.($ 3.8 trillion) $ 200 billion higher than the previous year( FY 2011) New debt this fiscal year: $ 1,600,000,000,000.($ 1.3 trillion deficit plus $ 300 million other borrowing) Total national debt as of February 20, 2013: $ 16,534,479,183,276.($ 16.5 trillion) Total unfunded liabilities( debt; social security; prescription drug; Medicare) $ 122.8 trillion The promised budget cuts in the Budget Control Act of 2011 never materialized. In fact, the amount authorized by Congress in continuing resolutions was $ 69 billion higher than the President requested. Current Sequestration“ cuts” are less than
