SECOND SEMIFINAL BETWEEN THE GIANTS OF ZONE B Sunday's first game was quite frankly one of the most intense and combative matches I've ever witnessed at this level of play. Nothing short of arduous and physically demanding on the players, add the Buenos Aires heat which also seemed to have been a contributing factor. Nevertheless, the players came to play and WIN. The 11-10 overtime victory for La Dolfina Polo Ranch over Cría Yatay in the Argentine Open is proof enough. Despite the fact that both teams gave their all on the field, Lady Luck was on La Dolfina Polo Ranch's side. The reality that both teams were also out of contention for the final was of no consequence, given that the match itself had its own level of significance: indeed, for La Dolfina Polo Ranch their victory meant automatically qualifying for the 2018 Triple Crown. As far as Cría Yatay is concerned, the team has already qualified for 2018; but on the field, they played with passion, power and skill. 23
