Washington 18 to 13. Sunday’ s matches for Zone B had to be suspended due to rain but were played on Monday November 14th.
The first match was played between Ellerstina and La Irenita with Ellerstina winning 17-10. Following this exciting match the dispute was between El Paraiso facing La Aguada Las Monjitas. It was an even match in which each team demonstrated their great ability on the field. This was evident as both teams ended the final chukker in a 12-goal tie which led to a supplemental chukker won by La Aguada Las Monjitas thanks to the golden-goal perfectly executed by Alejandro Novillo Astrada.
Passion, skill and a great desire to make it to the Quarter Finals
On their way to reach the quarter-finals were: November 19th( Zone A) Alegria vs. Cria Yatay( 9-7); and La Dolfina vs. Washington( 18-8). On November 20th it was the turn for the teams of Zone B, La Aguada LM vs. La Irenita( 14-10) and Ellerstina vs. El Paraiso( 13-8). The matches continued on November 22nd and November 23rd. The match between Cria Yatay and Washington was a close one, but Cria finally imposed itself 13-12 over Washington. This exciting match was followed by La Dolfina vs. Alegria in which La Dolfina comfortably won 20-10 over Hilario Ulloa’ s Alegria. On November 23rd the teams for Zone B faced each other:
