Social Pages DJ Peggy Gou Headlines Exclusive Marc O’Polo Organic Launch Party Written by; Richard Elliott Stockholm witnessed a one of its kind launch party headlined by renowned DJ Peggy Gou and around 300 fashion industry guests invited from all over the world. The unique event kicked off the celebrated brand’s 2020 Spring & Summer Campaign by launching a decorated variety of innovative organic products. To the excitement of the guests, the party started with a mysterious journey to the unknown venue which wasn’t revealed until the last moment. Shuttles were hired to transport all the guests to a remote industrial location featuring a VR studio. Amidst tall industrial buildings was an ancient steel door through which the guests, who were on the exclusive list, made their entry into the location. The invitees included a number of global fashion icons and industry magnates including Jan Quammie, Caro Daur, Sophia Roe, Sasha Panika, Rabea Schif, Kosta Kara, Pernille Teisbaek, Imruh Asha and more. The guests mingled with the top socialites of Stockholm while DJ Peggy Gou along with a team of local DJs used the music sets to craft an upbeat exclusive party atmosphere. It’s no wonder the event garnered unprecedented coverage both in terms of formal media coverage and informal social media gossip. Prior to the major launch, a warm up event took place at Marc O’Polo’s new concept store in Stockholm ‘Humlegårdsgatan 19’ where the fashion aficionados gathered to celebrate innovation and style. The retail store premiered its all new monothematic concept featuring minimalist design aesthetic while launching a dynamic range of modern organic clothing with its roots buried deep into the Scandinavian culture and heritage. This brand new collection uses organic cotton as its primary materials and is created by Mikael Jansson with contributions from Keiron Caynes, Parker Van Noord, Fei Fei Sun, and Anna Ewers.
