Denisa: I read that you started doing it in a strip
club right? So that’s some experience most girls
that do pole dance, for example in our studio,
don’t have and there are still people that think
it’s really bad. How did you feel about that job?
Did you experience people judging you?
Pantera: People are gonna judge you no matter
what you do.
Denisa: Yeah, that’s true.
Panthera: The thing about it though that it’s
sooo different in America. Like I have heard
crazy stories about strip clubs in Europe and
Asia and Mexico... And it’s just like... Oh my
god... Really? Like I don’t understand how it
can be so different, right? But at the same time
I kinda do... Like to cultural lines are always
divided differently, aren’t they. So it’s different.
In America when I started dancing it was
almost 20 years ago, it was a much different
world, especially in America. And I don’t know
if I always wanted to do it, but I never had a
problem not doing it. You know it was never
like something I would never consider doing.
You know everything was always wide open. I
feel really lucky, like for a lot of girls they have
negative experiences. They get caught up in
negative business and negative environments.
But I have a really positive experience. I don’t
have too many bad stories and most of my bad
stories are not even that bad. So I feel like I
might be one of those lucky ones. You know it’s
a good business opportunity if you use it as such.
Well... In this day and age it’s a lot better to not
do it ‘cause it’s getting very dirty compared to 20
years ago.
Denisa: So you think 20 years ago it was more
about dancing?
Panthera: Not even so much about dancing,
but that 20 years ago they had a little bit
more fantasy involved. There was a lot more
understanding of what you should and shouldn’t
do and there was lot more understanding on
business level of what you should and shouldn’t
do. For example: 20 years ago we did not just
walk around in our thongs. Because why would
somebody pay to see your ass if you are walking
around with your ass hanging out, right? That
just does not make any sense. Or like why would
you get fully naked on a stage because then why
would somebody pay to see you fully naked
somewhere else, right? For a VIP dance or like a
full contact dance or whatnot right? It just does
not make any business sense. In the way that
it’s evolved, it’s just girls are walking around
in dental floss now and they’re... They are like
entitled. They have like sense of entitlement...
Like I am cute, you should just give me money.
But 20 years ago like it was... Girls had a lot more
business sense about it. Of course you had your
crazies and your drugies and... You know there
are definitely bad elements to it, but there was
a lot more professionals. You know they actually
knew the business and knew they how it worked.
And now it just like ugh... It’s not worth it. In my
