ERASMUS+ PROJECT “POETRY DRAMA and CLASSICS are on STAGE”
Torres Novas , Portugal – 6th - 12th of May
In 6th May after waiting many hours for the plane at Madrid airport we finally landed in Lisabon.
The buss was waiting for us and after about an hour we arrived in Torres Novas, where other
project participants lovely welcomed us.
May 7 began with a visit to school. We were greeted by actors-famous Portuguese poets and
writers. On a small stroll through the school, we looked at the school's classrooms, the library, and
at the sports stadium. Each project team created a corner dedicated to the geniuses of their folk
literature. In the afternoon we met Torres Novas in a very interesting game. Each team had very
nice local guides, but we, with
different tasks, got acquainted with
the city's most prominent places - the
medieval castle, the palace garden,
went to the library, enjoyed the
fantastic rose gardens. At the end of
the day, we visited the mayor.
In 8th May we went to RIACHOS, where we had a school
tour. We saw a musical show and portugals traditional
dances were we all were able to join the dances. After
portugal students performed us the shows, Erasmus+
project participants needed to read out loud home made
essays inspired by there country's great classical, and show a
15 minute performance, also inspired by their country's
great writer or classical.
