Supporting Families Beyond
the School Day
Flexible out-of-school arrangements help to ease the day-to-day pressures
of workplace demands and modern living.
Day pupils can join us for breakfast and after school care, on either a regular
or drop-in basis. Parents can be reassured that, after school, younger
children are entertained by supervised indoor and outdoor activities and
older pupils either enjoy activities or complete homework tasks before
relaxing with their friends.
Older day pupils can also join our boarding houses after school until 8pm
(9pm for sixth formers) as part of our Extended Day Boarding service. They
join boarders for evening meals, study and boarding activities before going
home. Pupils delight in downtime with their friends, and parents can be
satisfied that they have also spent time studying and eaten well.
Flexible and occasional boarding can help during busy times e.g., in the
run-up to exams, a school performance or if you are away from home.
Pupils spend a relaxed and secure night in familiar surroundings, giving
parents peace of mind. This is also a great way of introducing children to the
benefits of boarding.
“Families can avoid a lengthy commute
or make after school activities easier
to manage by taking advantage of
our five night (weekly) boarding or
flexible boarding.”
