Co-Curricular and Trips
Pupils discover new interests and talents through our huge range of co-
curricular activities and trips which promote teamwork, resourcefulness and
boost confidence.
Numerous clubs take place every day at the Prep School, where pupils’
curiosity is fired by activities ranging from cheerleading to mindfulness,
Airfix club to LAMDA. While having fun, they’re also thinking independently,
developing life skills and making friends. Sporting activities are designed to
promote enjoyment in keeping fit, as well as teaching early skills.
Students in the Senior School benefit from more than 60 co-curricular clubs
and activities. Whether it’s computer programming or cookery, everyone
is encouraged to venture outside their comfort zone, find their niche
and shine. Students participate in regular drama productions, join music
ensembles and play sport at many levels.
Leadership skills are developed through the Combined Cadet Force (CCF),
The Duke of Edinburgh Award and our Sixth Form Community Action
initiatives. The Pocklington Award recognises students who have fully
committed to the co-curricular life of the school.
Our international, musical, sporting and cultural trips have proved popular in
addition to our frequent trips to enrich academic study at all ages.
